Adult piano lessons are offered on a half hour, 45mins or hourly basis, spaced regularly at the student’s convenience, depending on their level of study.
Children’s lessons are booked once weekly and paid for on a termly basis.
Music mentoring and performance coaching sessions tend to be occasional and average a duration of 2 hours, clustering around a situation - the length and frequency are agreed with the client within a coaching plan prior to the sessions starting.
Watch this space for music retreats in France! I am currently working on this...
Please contact me to discuss concert bookings and fees.
All bookings are payable in cash, cheque or direct bank transfer, on or by the lesson date. Please contact me to arrange payment.
If you need to cancel, I ask for a courtesy minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Unfortunately I cannot offer to reschedule cancellations: any cancelled or unattended bookings will have to be paid in full before lessons resume.
In the very unlikely event of you wanting to terminate a contract, you will still have to honour any payments remaining to the end of the agreed lesson/session plan in full.
Bursaries
I endeavour to accommodate low income clients with a sliding scale fee or bursary, whenever possible. Please talk to me if you wish to be considered for a bursary.
In the past, I taught students with the generous sponsorship of Musique Espérance: Music for Hope is a Swiss Charitable Foundation that supports musical education to the underprivileged in various countries around the World.
The bursary was repeated over several years, each time allowing students regular tuition for a period of up to 2 years - making this the highest sum that Musique Espérance Switzerland ever contributed to an individual musician's project. The publicity, criteria and feedback on this specific project can be viewed on demand.
If you are a sponsor and wish to contribute to a similar project, please get in touch: the cuts in arts funding have left many gifted music students wanting for expert affordable tuition.
"I was in the need of a good piano teacher but the lessons were unaffordable to me. The opportunity presented by Natalie together with Music for Hope was a unique opportunity for me."
